Carlo Merani
Carlo Merani graduated from Università degli Studi di Milano with full marks cum laude. Until 2001 Carlo was a partner in the Ludogoroff law firm in Turin, where, after a first period of training a general experience in administrative law, he specialised in the area of public contracts, town planning and cultural and environmental heritage. He then moved at Allen&Overy, one of the most important and known international firms until 2004. This was valuable experience in public sector tenders on both a national and international level. After a subsequent period as Head of the administrative law department at Professor Mario Bin’s practice in Turin, in 2007 he founded, along with other colleagues, Merani & Associati, from 2017 named Merani Vivani & Associati. He collaborates as of counsel with SCF Studio Legale now Leexè.
He has become an expert in legally advising public entities involved in public services, he has wide expertise in contracts, contract notices, specifications and other documents regarding public tender procedures, services and supplies, assistance on behalf of public companies, public/private companies, project copanies. He gained wide expertise also in judicial procedures, before Administrative Court, before Civil Court for tenders and concessions matters and before Court of Auditors for liability matters. He has been arbitrtor or president of arbitration panels at many arbitrations in the area of public and private tenders. He also handled proceedings before Anti-Trust Authority and Antu-Corruption Authority.
